Hi Matt - Did you climb up to the range via Cleft Peak? Col and I are thinking of paddling across from Hermit Basin, rather than up from Scotts Peak Dam, and are looking (on the map at least) at the possibility of climbing up via the Lion. The ridge up looks pretty good on satellite photos, although the very top section looks a bit steeper.
