I enjoyed the water collecting story.. what a story! The sounds of the rain... and the water tank were fun and great pix of the Yuba and the rains. Yes, thank goodness for the rain--You're so right, we loved it!!!

Really cool to learn about your rain catchment system and also see some documentation of that epic storm. Crazy to think about the Yuba was flowing that strong! Also dude fix that ladder situation!

Thx a lot! I do have a plan for a rolling ladder that will allow me to move along that gutter from the side without repositioning the ladder and without climbing on top of the roof.

In the solar tour at the end of the vid there’s a still frame that shows the wireless collector. Both run on AA batteries. Brand is Lacrosse. Nice product!

I have installed Costco’s gutter guard. It’s mesh is much finer but you will probably have to hinge and clean anyway.

I didn't know you were around for all that craziness. Sounds like you made a "good catch"! Certainly it was very exciting. Have you researched those commercial products that are like filters that enclose your gutters? I'm all curious if they're actually useful. I wanna come by and taste some of your water!
