I know you just started but when you reach S2 prep some tissues the emotions get strong at the drop of a hat. But this series is one of my fav to vibe with. Our Slime MC is a wonderful character; the series is truly fun and exciting and the world is just the best. This is one of those that sucks you in fast and keeps ya wanting more. I can't say more without spoiling I like it so much.

Slime is definitively a very charming show that I do appreciate. From an anime production point of view I agree with the color scheme being very pleasing, the VAs putting their all into it as well as some seriously impressive moments of animation. Story-wise it has some legitimate nice twists on some classic tropes as well as an overall engaging story line. HOWEVER: While it starts off very strong I have my issues with it later (Issues I wont talk about since spoilers) leading me to give it an overall rating at around a strong B. So yeah lets go with B+. Thats a good grade in case somebody thinks im underselling the show here ;) You will definitively enjoy it, im sure! Cheers

Hmm. I think that’s fair, considering this is my favorite anime already after having watched it several times and reading the light novels. I won’t say it’s the best anime, but I actually had pretty low expectations. Perhaps due to that it became my favorite. All that being said, that’s probably a fair rating lol.

I agree with your rating. What I liked about it is the worldbuilding/civ-building aspect that they try to include, which I don't see a lot of anime and more often in mangas and light novels which has no time constraints for video. Also, the lack of an in-your-face harem which is trope that I dislike as I find it done in a cringy manner.

Agreed. I love the characters, general story, and the world, but the relations of power levels between characters are wildly inconsistent in a way that brings down certain story points, especially at the end of Season 2.

FYI -- The opening scene is the night of Mar 9-Mar 10, 1945. The Japanese refer to it now as the night of the black snow. It was the firebombing of Tokyo using incendiary bombs. As to what happened to the girl in the anime, stick around. :)

couple of things here for you. The space inside of rimroe is its own little pocket dimension at the beginning of the series. veldora doesn't even count for 10% of what he can store in there. second, I know you've been watching overlord so rimaru and the Pleiades maid solution who backed up sebis in overlord our technically the same species predatory slime. she also has a space inside of her for storing things. I find this interesting because usually people watch slime before overlord
