Yes me too, if like me the slightest noise wakes you. You can buy online a white nose speaker that has that sound. Sometimes used for infants. Helped me and the wife have a better night's sleep for years now.

Superb video Mr P i saw you were in Portsmouth and im guessing you saw the chinese woman for your bait thats a great spot next time you get some worm there a pound might be he way to go start saving now it will be expensive but worth it 😂 love your sea fishing videos now is the best time of year for bass as you already know !!!!
@TAFishing2 ай бұрын
Not Portsmouth,just Hayling Island and haven't got a clue of a Chinese woman for bait ??... I don't think I have ever used a pound of Ragworm for beach fishing,maybe when I had my boat and went out Plaice fishing ,and as you say its a case of scaring the pocket book when you come to pay at the till. I tend to split between half pound of Rag and a packet of Sandeels. Usually enough for a short session.

My top tip is I always always carry propolis mouth and body treatment for the carp and use bottles of the stuff throughout the the year I think as carp anglers we owe it to the carp to protect them for the future,and top video by the way good value for money carp tackle.

Great video. As a coarse angler keen to do some sea fishing at Chesil beach, it would be great if you could do a video (or if you have one already) showing rods types, rigs, baits, for different species and beach fishing… like a tutorial please 😊

maybe a useful tip for bass. I live in the UK but also have a place on the Massachusetts coast. Over there we use Circle Hooks for striped bass. It helps hook them and also avoids any deep hooking. Just a thought given how many tips you give us :-)

@TAFishing2 ай бұрын
Can be a good time for fishing,after a blow and just as it is starting to drop down. Fine if you are lucky enough to live by the sea,but for an "inlander" its always a bit of a risk hoping you are going to catch it just right.

I guess im spoiled living and fishing the east cost of America. all them fish you hooked we would have kept them for live bait . That size is perfect for stripers and blue fish bait. I enjoy watching what other places think are nice fish
@TAFishing2 ай бұрын
We can only catch what species of fish we have in our waters . I wish we had something larger like the Striped Bass,maybe some might take the "long swim" over from your waters...They would be appreciated for sure.

What rods and reel you use for sea fishing? After watching you I kinda wanna go sea fishing lol. Great video paps keep up the great work ❤
@TAFishing2 ай бұрын
My rods are about 50 years old so you won't be able to buy them now. If you check with your local tackle shop they should be able to point you in the right direction. Its the end rigs and bait that make the difference.
@paulhiggins60242 ай бұрын
Do you fish, bait collect or just shore forage along the south coast? If yes then you need to check out the Southern IFCA proposals for bye-laws to be introduced in a number of MCZs that will prohibit bait gathering or even harvesting sea weed by Joe Public. It’s the thin end of the wedge guys, don’t think it ain’t happening.
@TAFishing2 ай бұрын
I heard about worm digging being banned in some areas so it doesn't amaze me that some bright sparks are trying to close even more things down for us. We won't be allowed to walk on the beach soon for fear of disturbing the pebbles....
@GLK-London2 ай бұрын
Why can't limpits be used as bait? I have used them when crabbing with my kids when they were young. All these rules and regulations are hard to keep up with at my age😃
@mickhardstaff66052 ай бұрын
I didn't know that either .
@TAFishing2 ай бұрын
I fished with slipper limpits over 60 years ago,they were the best bait for Flounders(when we had some !) and Bass after a good storm.Apparently they are invasive but been in our waters for who knows how long. I would have thought using them as bait would help thin them out ? but the crackers way of thinking now just doesn't make any sense at all. Who are these people we just allow to make all the "rules" ?...they probably don't even fish.
@davidjones11512 ай бұрын
why you not take the Bass home for cooking ? maybe it would make your trip worthwhile.
@TAFishing2 ай бұрын
Catching the fish was worthwhile in its own right ,deciding whether to keep them or not is an option and I suddenly thought I would let the bigger one go even though I was thinking of having it for a catch-and-cook...There will be other fish no doubt, I was just grateful for having a halfway decent beach session for a change.
