My dogs allergic to chicken, when he’s had it in the past he’s had the runs, been very lethargic and scratches like mad. I had never heard of it before but apparently it’s a thing. I hope Boo is feeling better now he’s on his normal diet.

Hope Boo is better. There's something going round i think with dogs both mine and my sons dog have been getting upset stomachs. A vet told me not to give my elderly dog chicken anymore as said their delicate stomach cant take it when they get older. Goes through my dog like a dose of salts!

Hi re Boo, if he has got the runs all the time ask the vet could it be EPI, our dog had this some years ago, thisis what google outlines, Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) is a syndrome caused by insufficient synthesis and secretion of digestive enzymes by the exocrine portion of the pancreas. EPI is less common than pancreatitis in both dogs and cats, but it is the second most common exocrine pancreatic disorder in both species. hope you can sort this out,x Kev PS if it is EPI it's very treatable with Pancrex granules.

Thanks, we actually managed to get hold of his vet the next day and it turns out they were treating him for Giardia, a nasty intestinal parasite that can and normally does take two corses of treatment to rid it from their system, we are taking a poop sample in tomorrow to be tested

He wouldn’t need worming again so soon Each time a dog is wormed it’s like putting poison in its gut Although Panacure is the most sensitive you can use He is an older boy with tummy troubles too I know all dogs need to be wormed just think about it Didn’t he have a bad tummy when you was in France again after he had the worming tablet to go Probiotic is really good will settle his tummy Sorry for long post I don’t mean any offence just trying to help Big hugs to Boo 🥰 And keep those videos coming guys Tina & Mark Motorhome Morwenna

Yes the illness in France was from drinking the water at the aire, a ‘water parasite’ the vet has said if this wasn’t cleared from his system properly it could be along the same lines but they have treated him for Giardia which is a similar thing. They don’t have a wormer to go out to the EU but have a tape worm treatment to come back. No offence taken it’s nice that so many people are racking their brains to try and help 🥰

Poor ole boo and looks like an exact same thing with my elderly Stafford The vet told us it was basically ibs for dogs and she has good bacteria from tablets and the occasional metabactin bloody worry eh Keep up the vids We have just got up to Malaga on the Spain trip an reminds us of our trip 5 years ago ❤

We use Prokolin paste and a dollop of meloxidyl , settles our dogs tummy’s down .. poor boy

hi can I give you some friendly advice...I have a vast knowledge of dogs. I think it was the worming treatment that unsettled your dogs stomach again it's notorious for it. also I know you were advised to get probiotic paste but the last thing you want to do if your dogs tummy is bloated is bung it up which the paste does. also simple boiled potatoes is one of the best treatments for the runs. It could have been we don’t know. When he first had the runs back in the uk we gave him potato but it never made any difference and he then had a seizure which was the first in several years so I won’t feed him potato again. If it is a parasite then obviously the parasite needs treating or he wouldn’t get better. He’s much better now though and thanks for the info ☺️

We use probiotic paste regularly to stop stomach upsets. We also have found one of mine is gluten intolerant = no rice, and the other can not tolerate chicken. They both were fine when younger but as they aged their bodies changed.

Boo can’t eat red meat but can eat chicken or fish but not in the context he has been getting it so turned a quick corner and got him back on his regular diet ☺️🐶

Cooked on hot plate without drowning in oil or under grill is good. Even cut into chunks and tossed through rice, pasta. Great emergency food or nostalgic snack LOL Great you are in a sheltered area! Those strong winds are awful! Just as bad as earthquakes! The amount of vans we see blown over, where the drivers just dont think, especially over the passes. Self preservation is the key! Especially when its your home 😊. Poor Boo. ❤ 🤓 Now Steve...Kathryn is more precious than gold. You cant give her away for free!!! How could you. But maybe, for a couple of million? Aren’t our little ones such a nightmare, lolly is the worlds fussiest eater, can’t even tempt her with chicken most of the time, and as she weighs less than a bag of sugar to begin with always trying to find her something she likes to eat. Hope it’s just the side effects from the wormer, the probiotic paste from pets at home is good, has always helped when Teds tummy has been out of sorts. Take care X Pam

Hiya. Our border collie is 10 years old, and used to suffer with a funny tummy, and was always suffering with diarrhoea and sickness. I came across an advert for a product called Canine Prime which is a powder that you add to the dog food, and it was fantastic. It’s not cheap, but I really recommend it. Now, Scallywag just has her normal food, and every now and then I add a bit of the powder into it. This product was invented by a vet who understands the digestive system of the dogs. I hope this might help Bailey. Jack, Sez & Scally.

The thought of spam makes me go yuk as it reminds me of school spam fritters. Think too much chicken has given Boo the runs. Our dogs are both 13 and love chicken but it does give them the runs and as you say smelly farts.

Good morning, you don’t appear to have had my previous message about your little man I was trying to make a suggestion I’ve had dogs for 40 years and I’ve had two dogs which have suffered from the same problem constantly even one of my dogs suffered with colitis many years ago, my vet suggested to me that I added Asda‘s probiotic, fat, free, yoghurt, too they’re normal food fantastic results it builds up a natural immunity in their gut via the probiotics and is a cheap alternative to buying supplementsI hope this suggestion helps 1 tablespoon morning and night 🫶🏻
