Goku (Mid) looks so much better in Meteor/Tenkaichi 3 I can't tell why, but Sparking ZERO missed the mark on him (except for the transformation sequence which is looking divine)

But yeah, visual accuracy plays a big part in this, as Sparking ZERO's Goku Mid looks like he just jumped out of the late Buu Saga or DBS Broly. Even the eyes are drawn differently.

You know I actually don’t get why they moved away from the original style of transformation in the tenkaichi with button inputs and to the raging blast D pad style I never liked that it clutters the screen with more Ui and it’s takes away from the feeling of actually doing something especially with fusion like you’re actually doing the dances. Instead of pulling up a small screen and just selecting it. Plus I feel like it’s quicker then pulling up a screen and choosing by the time you choose is already put in the input to transform if you know it already.

The problem with Sparking Zero is that it tries too much to look like Super rather than Z. It also spams too much visual noise on-screen; the show isn't THAT busy with special effects.

Raging Blast is not part of the Tenkaichi series tf are you yapping about, it’s its own series called in fact “Raging Blast”, plus it’s got way less atmosphere, sound design, bloom light effects, special moves in general are way worse than BT3, there’s not even the same amount of destructibility in arenas.

It is just that the outlines from the characters are off from their body, and maybe yeah a little bit on the FPS side but, it is really just that tbh. Good comparison tho! I recommend searching a tutorial so you can tweak the configuration to your like, it differs from PC to PC.

I would like to see some Raging Blast 2 comparisons I feel like that would be far more accurate than Tenkaichi 3. Everybody seems to just steer passed it for some reason, like a lot of these Sparking Zero animations weren't influenced by Raging Blast specifically lol

Because Sparking Zero is literally Budokai Tenkaichi 4. It's the 4th installment of the Tenkaichi series (a successor to 3). That's why it makes more sense to compare BT3. But comparing to the raging blast series wouldn't hurt.

A lot of the ideas and animations Sparking Zero is implementing is based directly off of Raging Blast, That's why it makes more sense to compare the attacks with RB rather than Tenkaichi. Like for example Goku's Angry Kamehameha doesn't have an animation in Tenkaichi 3 but it does in Raging Blast

@@webbiefade14 No the Raging Blast series were a different series, it was similar to the Tenkaichi series but it's not a continuation. Sparkling Zero is continuation from BT3. It's was already confirmed to the developers in the very first teaser, plus when we saw first game play, you hear voice clips from BT3 when goku was getting hurt. Yeah there are similar animations from raging blast series as well. It took some features from that game but it's mainly a continuation from BT3.

Sparking Zero is a direct sequel though. It would only make sense that people just look to the prior main entry. Besides, from what I see, the game has more similarities to BT than you might think.

I'm afraid that there won't be team ultimates like we had in Raging blast 2. It looked like the second character who is involved in the ultimate just pops up like in Tenkaichi (that's most likely the case with android 17 & 18) & I'd be fucking lame if so.. Characters should have an ultimate on their own AND the ho used team attacks should have it as an extra ultimate like they used to!
