He is more accurate than the NOAA forecast systems that need to update their models to the new normal with elevated sea surface temperatures etc, Sailors know and have lost respect for accuracy. Winds forecast are lower than actual wind speeds and wave heights, which are dangerous when trying to sail from Guatemala to FL.
