Very large oil industry vessels in Grand Isle, Louisiana and Fourchon, Louisiana had sustained winds of 125 to 135. And water to roofs of elevated buildings. South Lafourche Parish is a mess. Thankfully, our levee held up. But make no mistake... Zeta was a Category 3.
@Jacksonn9854 жыл бұрын

And if it is common then why do people still live there??
@kamikazitsunami4 жыл бұрын
@@RedSonja. Good question. 🤷
@bengagnon28944 жыл бұрын
@@RedSonja. People still live there probably because most of them are either too poor to go elsewhere (nobody would want to buy their house) or too stubborn. And they don't have any more money to build infrastructures there because your government is already spending it in Irak or Afghanistan. On a side note, it is the ingenuity of men that made it possible for him to live in such a place. It is also this ingenuity that will be his demise there. You don't have to be a civil engineer to understand in 2020 that building a house in a salt marsh or in a bayou is not a good idea... Especially along the Gulf Coast which is prone to hurricanes.
@MehIgotnothing4 жыл бұрын
@@RedSonja. Same question can be asked of any person that lives in any area prone to hurricanes. Anywhere you live has a chance of some extreme situations i.e flooding, drought, tornadoes, fires, blizzards... Most of us that live in hurricane prone areas know the drill and know what to expect. All we can do is prepare our homes the best we can and hope for the best.

Have you looked at where our magnetic poles are lately? Or what our sun is/isn’t doing? Yes climate change is real bc the earth goes through cycles, and we’re living through one right now! And there is not ONE thing that people can do to stop it or change it! Yes there are things we can do to help our environment, but we’ve been lied to about the causes of climate change and what all is going on right now.....the reason is for power and money! It’s going to keep getting worse.
@deanstackhouse49914 жыл бұрын
They say one volcano the size of a Vesuvius eruption will, in two days exceed the amount of carbon released by man forever and ever past. We have 40 volcanoes now erupting on the Third Rock from the Sun. This is the big real deal and truth of it. The agenda by "Climate Change" radicals is just that, a manipulation of facts to support an agenda on which they can profit at the expense of we, their slaves.
