My experience in playing this has been either my team gets absolutely stomped or my team does the stomping. I very rarely get a match that feels close.

@@Slurpdako No, I actually do much better in Overwatch simply because it has role que and very few characters feel squishy where as in this game the majority of characters feel very squishy to me.

I like Storm because I like playing an assist heavy playstyle. They should make her a strategist and give her a healing ability. Maybe a gentle rain that heals half that of a Rocket healing orb. Pop your E ability and it heals twice as much then. Or buff the wind ability because it's barely noticeable.

No because I was literally thinking the same thing, just give my girl healing rain and make her a strategist 😭🙏 or just rework her kit a bit to go full dps. I can already see her having the same problems as OW’s Sombra who was a support / dps hybrid like Storm, with low damage and very strong team utility. Sombra was a bottom tier dps that barely anyone played and was a balancing nightmare for years until they reworked her to focus less on utility and more on her dps. If OW is any indication, the hybrid characters always end up either falling behind or breaking the game. Storm is too iconic to go in the same direction - please just have her commit to one role and go all in. 🙏

They should just make her right click be her standard attack when she pops her lightning aura, that fixes a lot of my issues with her lol

I'd be happy with storm the way she is but her wind 💨 projectiles can heal allies too.

She is good in this map specifically and against non hitscan or flying opponents. If the opponents have a spiderman or Star lord or Iron fist or iron man or scarlet. You are cooked if you play storm. In very closed maps, scarlet destroys stomr

Honestly I think she'd be better off as a support. Make her wind blade endless so there's no reload and make her move faster. She'd be perfect. She'd be the eprson you use for damge and speed boosts. A great addition to any kind of team up.

I think Storm could be a hybrid in this game. Give her a healing rain water capabilities, and she can be very vital in the right hands

A lot of people who play storm just don't use her abilities when they are off cooldown which severely lowers her damage. When you hold onto them waiting for that perfect clutch play, you're just throwing away your own damage. Also her attacks pass through targets so its good to line them up. I'm not sure how many people they pass through though

You can’t use e off cooldown otherwise you collapse if you get dove. It’s such a long cooldown that you need to have it whenever you can secure a kill or are getting dove

@@stevo_0101 yeah i usually hold E for burst damage with right click so healer cannot cover them. Although using E on cooldown with clamped people builds ult very fast

I don't know why they gave her that weird projectile attack. Her main attack should be a hitscan tracking lightning beam.

I love that she’s a dps support but very strange that they used storm for this especially with the kind of power fantasy she usually brings in other media.I think with a few buffs she’ll be fine! Especially her movement speed and projectile size. I just wish her moveset was more flashy. Storm brings the drama but sadly the marvel rivals version doesnt unless she’s ulting

Man I wish she had more in her kit. Like, seriously. She should have had a skill shot similar to ulr in smite. Where you move a circle in the ground to aim a lightening bolt that hits enemies. Make it have a slight delay so you have to predict where they would be or something. Shame really

I find Storm works best when you play just above your team or slightly behind the frontline. However, I find myself having to retreat to heal since my teammates never bother to heal me.

You know the lightning mode by default boosts your allies damage... when you're not running around or needing to boost ally speed you should probably swap out of wind It also gives storm herself a more powerful boost than allies - for example the lightning aura is 8% damage boost to allies, 16% boost to storm and boosts up to 30% bonus to storm and 12% to allies

Her auto is hard to land. I always struggle to land it, but her ult is really good.

I feel like that was a decent balance for Storm. If you play smart like Trik, you can do a lot of work. Just don't try to be a bulldozer!

Its really hard for me to get into this game because it feels like they missed the mark on that "fantasy fulfillment" on the characters I wanted to play. Captain America is this fast aggressive tank, dare I say, a bully! Instead of filling that "Protector/CC" vibe (Also, the ability names are whack! Charging Star and Stars and Stripes!) Adam Warlock has no mobility and dies faster than Radditz despite his thing being "Better Superman" (I get he can't be "Him" for the sake of balance, but they could've gave him flight or bulk) Storm has zero Rain, Ice, Fog abilities (and is a Damage hybrid?) And Wolverine is a DPS despite an adamantium skeleton and healing factor. Like if they wanted an aggressive tank, they could've chosed him _____ yeah, I'm sounding like an entitled fanboy. I do hope this game does well so we can get more characters (I'm looking forward to see if they add Bishop and Flash Thompson as Agent Venom) and I hope people have fun playing it. Its just for me, its a bummer that I hop on Cap and need to rely on Hit and Run instead of leading the team.
