Opinion: Reimis Smith has great defence, but is being let down by reads in the middle causing overlaps and poor defensive decisions by his inexperienced young winger. He has the highest tackle efficiency of ANY full time centre in the comp by a LANDSLIDE, and has the second fewest caused tries in the comp besides the Penrith right edge defence. He is also very dangerous in attack but rarely gets clean ball in a left-heavy offence.

@@dyslxeic Jennings is fine, he trusts Reimis and keeps his width. With him there, we maintain our second best right defence edge in the comp (behind Penrith). Nothing against Ieremia but he’s just too young and inexperienced… lucky Georgie is back next week ⚡️✊

you hear alot this year up the tackle technique levels but it obviously varies in the individual height of the players...Corey towers over Jerome height wise,no excuses but if that hit had been on J Brommich for example be roughly chest height and deemed a good tackle......in the spur of the moment

The storm players often lie on ruck (coached) that extra few seconds so their defence is set for the next play. Other teams need to do the same thing to win against them

Really well coached at it. Cam Smith used to start talking to the ref as he was getting up to distract him and take the extra time. Now it's Munster doing it

Come on fellas, give the Storm a break.. It's like 18 straight. During this time, other teams have obviously picked up couple of things on their game and coming to the back end of the season, will try and capitalize to beat them. So the remaining matches will be tough and win margins won't be that huge. That's just my opinion anyway.

storm played awesome as usual, raiders just came in hard wif mean D and those raiders winjers tries were from perfect passes but in the end they couldnt keep up wif the storms pace of play and it drained them by the end of match , like last week against manly, manly started fumblin from storms intense speed

It was frustrating to see them come so close. I don't support either teams but I've always liked seeing the Storm and Raiders do well. Simple errors and silly tackles in the second half really cost them. Storm were on the ropes when they were only up by 6 after Wighton set up the third try.

Hmm, the intent in that tackle on Hughes was nasty. There's only one intent hitting a man like that and he delivered his intention to maximum effect. That hit possibly cost Melbourne a grand final cause Jerome is definitely an intrical part in the Storms set up,attack wise and defensive organisations. If I were a hearty storm supporter I'd be worried and swearing on Jerome's health and fitness to make it back before the semi finals.
