🇳🇱 STORMCHASE 60-70 KNOTS - Behind the scenes - Windsurfing Netherlands

A recap and trow back to one of the most insane storms we had in the Netherlands. Uploaded footage from STORM CIARA. Can you remember that one? 11-12 Beaufort, windspeeds over 120kmh and gusts 60+ Knots.
Wanted to share these memorable moments with you on my KZbin channel. Well mostly trough the eyes of my daughter. :-). It was on my birthday 09 February '20. We went out too the beach for some fresh air & to get sandblasted.

With gusts far over 60 knots, it was far from easy. What a day and wild experience! Glad i survived this one. This was just on another level of Storm chasing.
Couldn't do much on the water, then just enjoy the rush.
In 2023 I renewed my storm sail quiver from a 3.0/3.6/4.1 to a 2.9! /3.3/3.7/4.1.
I have used my new 3.3m2 and 3.7m2 already more then a few times, but the 2.9 m2 still remains untouched. The smallest one, 2.9m2 awaits a 60 knots storm. To be continued.

Als het echt van de planeten waait, zie je geen wingfoilers of kitesurfers meer op het water. Ook niet erg veel windsurfers trouwens haha
