Never been to Nan. Young lady who found my condo for me is now teaching in Nan, she got her PHD in Stuttgart, From an old friend no longer with us I know Nan once had a British Consulate, the teak trade was what it was all about, also CM had first telephone set up in the north, only 100 lines and when it upgraded the ex CM telephone equipment went to Nan.
