Thank you for this video. I was on the mainland while my family was there in Gurabo. This video confirms the description of the winds that my mom and my sister gave me. I was still living there for hurricane Hugo, and I must tell you, it was nothing like this monster Maria.

What an absolutely INCREDIBLE intercept, Simon & Juston! MARIA was truly a monster. Those opening shots in Fajardo remind me of when I was prepping for the Hurricane HUGO chase in the same general area many years ago. It must have been quite the experience going through this eyewall in your vehicle?!? And how amazing to document a sub-930 mb pressure first-hand, definitely a rare occurrence!
