that's an incredibly good idea as this guys drumming is as close to Ingo's as I've ever heard. only I would take it one step further.... helloween should fire Deris, namely because he's awful, and convince Kai to join back on lead guitar and maybe even get Kiske on vocals again. I love Gamma Ray but it seems that kai could use a good change up, their last album or two were just mehhh. I miss old school Halloween :(

@117599807373214935555 Agreed. I too get some Ingo-vibes when I listen to this guy's drumming. He would fit the band much better than their current drummer Dani. And you are right. It seems like kai needs something new, and that new could be working with Michael Weikath again! Those two have written so many great tracks together, and they compliment each other so well on the composing, Kai with his rough and powerful riffs, combined with Weikath's melodic and melancholic style -Imagine if they got together and wrote something like "Keeper of the Seven Keys: The Defining". I likes Keeper Legacy, but I don't think you can finish the Keeper-saga without both Kai & Weikath ;) I would love to see Kiske returning as well, as long as he can accept that Kai & Weikath are running things. I liked Andi in the past, and I think he contributed well in the 90s and early 00s, but he is loosing his voice now, and drags Helloween down with him :/

***** I think Dani Löble is a fantastic drummer, but the reason I don't like him for Helloween, is that his style is simply too far away from Ingo & Kusch's. He plays the older songs completely wrong, and it's clear that he cannot adapt to them. Dani is too much of a machine on drums, he isn't fluent enough, and it takes so much power away from many of the songs :o Now, about Kai: I have never stated that he has stopped drinking. I've said that Weikath has cut down on the alcohol, while Deris is drinking too much :/

Eledin91, yes KZbin has many bugs, so maybe that's one of those. Anyway, yes the one you mentioned is great, I love Kai there and often watch it ! I guess you know Helloween Ride the sky Live Eindhoven 1986. The quality is not perfect (30 years ago!) and there are some mistakes (it's a real unedited live ;)) but the performance is great, Kai gives me goosebumps although I must say that in 2008 (when I saw Gamma Ray live) he was still awesome.
