Coomera, Queensland, is set to gain a flagship extension to its Westfield shopping center - which will house a warehouse retailer, a service station, and 783 parking spaces.
With a site area of 14,000 square meters and close proximity to local creeks and the scenic Gold Coast, SPEL designed and installed stormwater treatment assets to meet unique requirements.
On the multipurpose site, stormwater management was divided into four main categories - hydrocarbon capture, tertiary filtration, detention, and harvesting. Water quality, spill containment, flood mitigation, and water storage capabilities across multiple catchments on site will be protected by the versatile stormwater assets supplied.
