Hey! Isn't Solaris GL viewport is SLOW/LAGGY and stepy (ish)? My question is: which way is the best to have fast preview and have control over the scene - create all things in OBJ - then LOP - SOP import etc, or start in Solaris with SOP_Create? Workflow question.

I havent experienced any lag or major slow downs in the viewport. Caching to USD will make heavy scenes playback faster as it doesn't need to convert everything to USD. Working in obj and importing to Solaris or just starting in sop create is a personal preference more than anything.

(Solaris newby - so thake this for what you think its work : ) In the top right of the viewport you have the Renderer and Camera dropdowns'. From the reneder dropdown make sure Render Settings is set to 'Viewport settings'.
