It’s impossible to speak without an accent. Anyone who can speak, will do so with an accent. Also, Britain has never had one homogeneous accent, so saying the American accent is the same as when colonised is blatantly incorrect, as there was never one ‘British accent’ , Britain has far more different accents than the US, there is still a ‘north south’ accent divide in the UK, which can be dated back to the Norman conquest. As the US did not exist at this time, it is clearly incorrect to suggest that their accent is older than ours 😂😂

Mic is one of the best in the game from the UK and he's not accent heavy so you will be able to understand him clearly. Fire in the booth is a platform for rappers to freestyle and showcase themselves similar to five fingers of death with Sway.

At the 2015 Brit Awards, kanye west called upon Skepta to invite "30 goons" onstage during his performance of "All day". Skepta chose to invite a collective of grime MCs and Brittish rappers to represent their music scene, and among these was Stormzy. Also a good friend of Ed sheeran. He was on a track earlier and ed has just released an album ( at number one ) and there’s a track with Stormzy on .also another track with Eminem and 50 cent Really liked your reaction ,even you stopping it ... even those of us in the 🇬🇧 find it difficult sometimes as it’s very fast and a London accent lol,, not sure if you know what his style is called ... it’s UK grime and is faster than a lot of rappers And yes he’s a big guy ,about 6 foot 4 .. first rapper ever to headline at Glastonbury , Vosssi bop a great fap( you need to watch that ) took it to number 1 ,which is very unusual vossi is a brandy ,but is also the name of his good friend who does the vossi bop! Merky means heavy as when an MC says that rap is merky ( I think that’s his record label or something too

Some nice info here but wasn't Jay-Z the 1st rapper to headline at Glastonbury?
@cherrymcgregor5355 жыл бұрын
shizmosaic apologies , you are right Jay-Z was the first rapper that headlined at Glastonbury .Noel Gallagher from Oasis criticised the choice ,saying that Glastonbury was for Guitar music , so Jay Z came out with a guitar and sang “ Wonderwall “ by oasis ,much to the audiences delight ,then went on to do a 29 track set ,even referencing British acts such as Amy Winehouse and Prodigy ,as well as Rihanna who he had worked with Stormzy was the first black British rapper who headlined and was at the top of the charts at the time. Ed Sheeran had predicted back in 2015 that Stormzy was going to be big Thanks for pointing it out shizmossic ,in my defence it’s my age ( lol) as I even watched Jay-Z do that performance, and I watched Stormzy and talked about Jay-Z ! Doh !

@@cherrymcgregor535 Don't apologise, even Stormzy had to make an apology to Skunk Anansie cos he made a slip up. Making mistakes is a fact of life, how we address them and move on is what makes us. Big respect to you for using it as an opportunity to highlight the good work Jay-Z brought to Glastonbury. Noel G just needs publicity to stay relevant. If you haven't watched it, Lewis Capaldi's response to Noel Gallagher at this years Glastonbury is classic!
