One of my alltime favorite songs. And one of a few that I remember being excited to hear come on the radio as a wee chap. 40 some years later and it's still in my regular rotation.

Jenkins guitar sound and riffs on the studio recording of LWFaW was one of my favorites as a child. It's an uplifting tune and will forever be a 70's classic.

When this song came out in 1978, I had just started going out club dancing. First hearing, I was moved, filled with hope and optimism, and it's a great song to freestyle or touch dance too. Still one of my all time favorite songs. Thank you for the decades of joy and hope.

Thank you for finally getting to the composition of the song and how the song started instrumental first. Just a tremendous song !

I love Pablo Cruise! All their music is really damn good but... World's Away has some of the best tunes of them all.

I was half-expecting David Jenkins to say that the title had been inspired by the Beatles' "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away" because of the Beatles' lyric "How could she say to me, 'Love will find a way'"?

Just heard this song as a trivia question, on hold for a phone line. At 27 I was not interested in most pop music (disco) of the day. Always thought it sounded like Steely Dan, which is not a bad thing but disservice to Pablo Cruise for sure.

I always thought the same thing. A touch similar to “Hey 19”. Both bands are 2 of my favorites.

I always thought it sounded a touch like Steely Dan as well….minus Donald Fagen’s character. Both bands are 2 of my favorite bands.
