The story is simple, but the chemistry between Sam and Yu and their acting skills grabbed my attention and kept me spellbound. I’ve rewatched multiple times for the subtle changes in expression and movements that I’ve missed that say so much. I never thought I’d enjoy a BL, but I never even saw gender with this series. All I saw was a beautiful and passionate love. Highly recommend.

@@nanajohnny9213 I knew nothing of BL series until a month or so ago. Presumably because I watch a lot of BTS content, a clip of WBL showed up on my feed. Actually, all sorts of BL clips flooded my feed, but only one caught my attention. It was one including a clip of the office scene. Normally a same sex story would not interest me, but there was something about the clip that was beautiful and intriguing and I had to find the series. I’m glad I did. It is beautifully done and, again, I did not see the gender of main characters, which very much surprised me. I love the subtle facial expressions and how well they both convey the range of emotions that had me feel and believe in their love from the cute starting phase to the intense break up and reunion.

@@BTS_Zarmi Both Yu and Shu Yi are Taiwanese-Japanese and so he speaks Japanese throughout the series. Sam/Shi De even speaks Japanese two or three times. I love having that mix of Taiwanese Mandarin and Japanese.

My Japanese accent is very different from Yu's since I am a Northerner, but as a speaker of Japanese and Taiwanese Mandarin, I absolutely love to hear him and his "dad" switch back and forth. There is so much Japanese in Taiwanese Hokkien, that there is usually a word or two in every series, but this show included way more than average. Music to my Japanese soul.

I've watched countless BLs, but I'm most certain that my favourite couple is Shide and Yi. SamYu character dynamics are out of the world. The storyline can surely improve, but the two actors are just amazing.

This is my first BL drama… the story was too simple but im obsess with DeYi bcs of their chemistry… they make this drama interesting… I hope can see more this two together in this drama or in any another drama… they got my full support now… DeYi couple is the sweetest gay couple ever!!!! Btw i hope this drama would have season 3 …
