Well done my brother. You don't have to "ba e nikan wi" as some people wanted, it's utterly irrelevant. What is important, absolutely important, is to stress SAB's undeniable role as CREATOR of Fuji. K1 who said otherwise only said it because he was angry. Even "Orin Dowo" wasn't much of a problem, except K1 didn't make it clear, crystal clear, that those he mentioned before SAB sang Were PURELY, his lumping everything together was the problem. Thank God in many places he has tried to clarify his position. Meanwhile, that Fuji artistes should come together to celebrate SAB is valid point, and that you did not lump Kollington with the other fuji artistes is absolutely reasonable, he is NOT in their category. My Oyeyemi, thank you for the clarifications. Kollington should be "accorded" same respect as SAB. I just feel people talk about Fuji and consciously and unconsciously omit Kollington in the discussion. Well Kollington deserves and he is entitled to to their respect SAB or not. Like someone said, Kollington is he a different planet compare to them... the point I was making was simply, if you watch Fuji discussions, they seem to almost make Kollington irrelevant. Why can't people just relax and enjoy the music, I don't know if it's illiteracy that made these musicians engaged in supremacy battle . SAB did a lot for African music by repackaging "were' music to become fuji. Kollington did a lot too, others contributed a lot to the development of fuji music , like K 1, Ayuba and Obesere ( this 2 guys hardly seek for credit) Rasheed Ayinde,, Pasuma and so on. K1 made a huge mistake by messing up what should have been one of the greatest fuji song( orin dowo), with muddled up facts. People should move on and forgive K1 for appearing to disrespect SAB, K1 is a legend but he brought the disrespect on himself, and he should live with it, he should put himself in SAB's shoe, how is going to feel if Pasuma treated him d way he treated SAB? After all, we knew K1 as Wasiu Ayinde Barrister, he used the name Ayinde Barrister to enter the market, he made an huge mistake by ever taking on SAB, Kollington is the one to challenge SAB. My people , SAB is an evergreen legend , no need to fight K 1 cos of SAB, he left a legacy and his works is speaking for him

He went to America to organise a kangaroo Doctorate degree for himself immediately Barry was made a Doctor of Fuji and given the key to the City of Providence. I am versed in the history of Fuji music because I've been following Barrister when he was living in Mushin.
