the whole point of the story is that the mum and dad part ways and the baby gets a present from he/she's mum and when the baby go's around the house the baby starts to imagine that he is been attack by a monster but its all the baby's imgaination.At the end of the game you'll find out its all the baby's imagination

all the mum is trying to do take the baby away from the dad so the mum is imagining that the dad did not even exist

The child goes to his dad which is the man at the door because of the mothers alcohol abuse. The mum and dad split up, which you can see by some of the drawings you find, there is one with a women and man arguing with a child in between. This is why the mother is stressed and drinking lots of alcohol. Thats why you run from her in the horror/ nightmare kinda parts because you're afraid of her when she is drunk kindaa well thats what i think

And yea,anyways, as you can see on the part where the baby is sleeping and the teddy is dragged away,the teddy went to the washing machine and the one who dragged the teddy was his mom. She doesnt want anyone else to get the baby so thats why he put the teddy on the washing machine so that it will be ruined. The teddy bear was the FATHER of the baby while the MOTHER is the monster and she is drinking alocohols alot :(

@Tiger Mc The Mother is an alchocholic and he imagiens the mother as a swamp monster like a the end when the "monster" grabs him from the leg before the child goes into the slide its actually the dad trying to save the child from falling down

majakka yksi yeah because when she drinks she gets angry its not confusing. it just shows that you never know when someone is abusive because normally they can seem like great parents but behind closed doors you never know what really goes on
