Feed The Strays . Hi , I dont know where I came from . All I know is I woke up with my eyes closed . There were four other ones just like me , . We all huddled into a warm furry body to eat and get comfort . I now know we were huddling up to our MOM and the “ other ones “ were my siblings . At first I felt content . There were loud sounds and ,sometimes I felt wet but I seemed safe as my mom had us all in a place that was hidden away from the unknown . We had warm milk and MOM cleaned us a lot . It felt wonderful when she licked us . Mom would leave us sometimes and but not for long . I now know she went to look for food . Our eyes opened soon after we were born and I saw that we lived under an old house near some bushes This was our home . .Mom fed us and we played together and learned about our claws and how to defend ourselves .. We loved scratching the old boards and hiding in the bushes . That was so much fun. When we grew a little bigger and were a little older she took all of us from under the old house to teach us about survival . . She said we must learn to hunt for food because there was no food to be had where we lived . She told us when she was born someone left her under a bush and she had to learn how to survive . She said there were some places where food was left by kind Humans . She explained what humans were but said to be aware not all humans were kind to us . That’s when she told us we were kittens and would grow into cats . We would go to look for food near the garbage bins , sometimes we would find a little , sometimes we would catch a mouse . But most of the time we were hungry and now frighten of the new world out there and frankly being hungry all the time . Mom said that we must move to find a place were the kind humans left food for strays . She heard about this from other stays . So we went looking . It took some looking ,for sure but eventually we found another house near a small store . We took turns sitting by the store and we would meow for food . , We were always hungry . My tummy was always growling . The store turned out to be a wonderful place for us because humans would see us and leave food for us . They called it “kitty “ food . We loved it and we weren’t so hungry all the time . At first the food left was only now and then but then the humans started leaving food everyday for us . This was so wonderful. We knew the sound of their cars when they came and we would run out to meet them . They tried to pet us ,at first we would run from them but then we began to let them pet us . They spoke in soft sounds and gave us names .and they call us their Babies . We love hearing their voices . We have human moms and dads . I was called Suza , my brother was called fluffernutter and my two sisters were adopted by some nice humans , and my other brother was killed . Mom said someone poisoned him . And the other good news is that the humans in the house also leave food for us . We made a lot of friends , There was the “little Old Man “ cat , the twins who were both all black except for a small white patch on one of them , there was baby calico , there was gray Ghost and sometimes a new cat would show up for food . None of us have a real home but we are very thankful to those who feed us . It would be very hard to survive without their help . Ty for feeding us . Please always remember to feed a stay . I have been to Indonesia. It’s not a rich country with a lot of domestic pets. (I live in Korea and have a good job, but vet costs for my street kitty have been expensive). We all do what we can. Your compassion and chicken and rice are better than starving. Peace and love to you!

A comparison: I think it is less expensive to give good food with enough protein (rice without meat is inadequate) than to pay a vet lateron when the kitties get sick because of malnutrional disease.

For all those detached people who forgot the real living conditions in the rest of the world, where GOOD people feed the cats &dogs with own homemade food that people can spare. This could be some bread and milk, sometimes when available chicken, bones or leftover food. And if you start to express how unhealthy this is you should remind yourself that those people depending on country and personal situation sometimes do have only 50 Dollars per month and cannot afford the best living conditions for themselves. Canned food is really expensive for those people. But yet they love animals and share everything they can. I knew such an old lady. Everyone does what he can spare by his own means.

The School its not about wealth and living conditions, i see the rice comments and many of them say kind things, they’re just giving constructive criticism in case the creator doesn’t know how harmful it might be for the cat in the long run. Its true, rice is starch and starch turns to sugar, something that cats cannot properly digest. They may have diabetic problems if kept on a rice diet. This is why they need a meat diet. Even fish is ok. This is such a heartwarming video, however it may be best to give the cat up for adoption if they want the cat off the street with a good, long life and a healthy home or at least see a vet if possible. If they want it to stay as a street cat then rice may be ok sometimes but the cat has to hunt for rodents itself.

I'll tell you in many parts of asia rice is a normal part of many animals' lives for their whole life. Not saying it's okay, but it's what people can afford and that's what they do.

@@sharrontaylor4744 Visited vietnam earlier this year. People often feed animals scraps. During my time there I've seen several dogs and cats choke on bones. They all ended up okay, as this is normal in that country, but it must have sucked for them.

We just want to help, maybe some of you have wanted these cats to die of starvation. We only have rice and chicken to give to these cats. There are millions of wild cats that are starving and homeless in my country. And this little cat we found in the gutter. I think what we're doing is useful enough than not doing anything. Yes they are beautiful hearted rescures , but they can't be so ignorant as that only hurt & kill animals! Feeding cats only rice is a very very NO NO! This is a poorer country than American and Canada and Russia, they don’t have the money for vets and all they had was chicken and rice. And they were holding her to apply medicine obviously and they did end up putting her in a blanket. Instead of complaining about it why don’t some of you go and feed a homeless kitty.
