We Indian Muslims are very lucky to stay in India.. Especially in South. You can't even begin to Compare the quality of life of Muslims living in Pakistan and Muslims living in south India. We live together peacefully and enjoy life with neighbors of different religion and cultures. I don't know about other Muslims but my whole extended family and relatives are living happily here. My forefathers made the right decision to stay and I am thankful to them. Can't even imagine living in Pakistan where there are so many issues on top of Terrorism. I just want to say this to my muslim brothers who support Pakistan. Kindly pack your bags and take a tour to Pakistan or Afghanistan and then decided where you want to stay, please don't bring bad name to the Muslim population living in India. @@factomatics3956 Firstly, the Kashmir dispute is not merely over the Kashmir Valley, it's over the entire region of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) which is 70% Muslim and 30% Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Jain, etc. Pakistan claims the whole of J&K despite it being a religious diverse region. Secondly, I agree that Hari Singh's actions were not only foolish but also reprehensible and cruel. But from an Indian stand point, once he acceded J&K to us, we accepted his offer because as a secular nation the religious demographics of that place made no difference to us. And lastly, and I say this with respect, we all know Pakistan wasn't going to treat the Hindus of Junagadh as equal citizens given how they treated their Sikhs and Hindus populations. There are hardly any religious minorities left in Pakistan today and that's not an accident, that's by design, Pakistan was created as a country for Muslims and Muslims alone.

Even today every provience has its own govt and are independent to make choices If we talk about minorities in Pakistan My neighbor is a Hindu family. They live in the flat below me. All people treat them as family but there children are sometimes bullied by other children when they argue over something otherwise they live a very good life in Pakistan. I agree there was some disturbance in the 2003-2017. The majority of Kashmiri people want to join Pakistan but India is like a strict master always saying a big "NO". I personally believe there should be a referendum in kashmir whether they want to be with Pak or India. The government of Pakistan is not much interested in junagadh as it really belongs to India but the nawab is insisting the govt and saying that they lost power due to joining junagadh with pak and now its pakistan's responsibility to get their power back

Pakistan on independence declared itself as an islamic republic while india was secular so there is no point why a state where 80% Hindus live will want to go to merge with Pakistan. 2. As far as Kashmir is concerned, what your media shows you is a small part of Jammu and Kashmir region, it's called the Kashmir valley. The comparatively larger parts are Jammu and ladhak I don't know about Kashmir valley region but the majority in Jammu which are Hindus don't want to join Pakistan seeing it's declining% of minority population same goes with ladhak which is mostly influenced by Buddhist ideology and some other regions of the Kashmir part. 3. People of Kashmir valley region too know very well that Pakistan doesn't want them, it wants the land of Kashmir because former Pakistani PM or some senior official had said on record that Pakistan needs Kashmir just to maintain its water security. 4. The UN resolution on Kashmir says as it's first step that Pakistan shall withdraw all it's forces from Kashmir before a referendum which Pakistan never agreed to and it still blames India for not solving the issue when nehru had even asked Pakistan to implement the resolution and declare referendum. Right now, in 2022 Kashmir region has Muslim majority over 85%, Jammu region has Hindu majority over 90% and Ladakh region has majority of Muslims and Buddhist of 46% and 40% respectively hindus makes 24% of it. Kashmir issue is very complicated because half of the population lives in Kashmir region and Pakistani claiming Kashmir with Jammu and Ladakh while Jammu and Ladakh people are happy with India and Kashmir wants independence. By the way I am not from mainland India, I am from leh. Muslims from Ladakh don't even think of joining to Pakistan...so here we go

Why this video is not talking about the fact that the " NAWAB" of Junagadh flee with his family to Karachi leaving his kingdom in crisis in the hands of Diwan Sir Shahnawaz Bhutto who waited for the help from Pakistan in crisis but when the situation went too aggressive that communal riots could trigger at any moment then he offered the Instrument of accession with Indian government and went to Pakistan. First of all, majority of citizens of junagarh were Hindu and king was muslim. King signed treaty to join pakistan but India did plebiscite (voting) as people revolted against that so called king/ruler of junagarh who fled when his own citizens needed him, so the citizens voted to decide which country they wanted to join. Around 99% of citizens voted in favor of joining India. And so it became part of India. 2) In case of Kashmir. Pakistan claims it's their part. Then again it was also independent, king was hindu but majority was muslim. Mohd. Ali Jinnah created a force of civilians to annex it. (As it was mentioned that no one can attack with british force, it'll only be for defence. And can attack if a part of their country will get striked). 3) Azad kashmir force of Pakistan attacked Kashmir. And the majority muslim population revolted against the king of J&K, due to religion difference. Eventually king asked India for help. But as per the condition of british army i mentioned in point 2. India asked J&K to join India if they want their help. Which the king of J&K eventually did. 4) Matter of kashmir got raised in UN. Un passed three resolution: a) To ceasefire. Wherever these two armies are they will stop and won't proceed forward. b) Pakistan will withdraw it's army then & only then will India. c) People will decide which country they want to join. 5) Both India & Pakistan followed 1st resolution but Pakistan never followed 2nd resolution and started demanding for 3rd resolution. 6) So basically, Pakistan didn't had the backbone to defend Junagarh but they tried to claim J&K. But India had that backbone to back J&K. And if Nehru wouldn't have visited UN, then there wouldn't have been any POK. 7) Pakistan or Jinah's obsession of Kashmir eventually made J&K an inalienable part of India. Another thing all of this is documented and is on paper. Try searching things thoroughly

India used to hundreds of different princely states. If they all had their way then India wouldn’t be what it is today. Sometimes, statecraft requires forceful annexation. Kudos to Vallabhai Patel. He literally gave these princely states an offer they can’t refuse - at gunpoint. If Junagadh stayed with Pakistan, then the Hindus would have been persecuted, their girls converted, their temples desecrated, their properties destroyed and forced to live a life of second class citizens.
