Very interesting story indeed to watch. A great story, highlighting how mangroves forest restoration efforts of Sindh Forest Department are paying off, making Pakistan's coastal areas protected to intensifying climate change-caused disasters, particularly sea storms, sea intrusion. These efforts would not only help restore biodiversity but also be vital to strengthening livelihoods of coastal communities. Good work indeed!

During our capacity building training to WWF Pakistan communities in the coastal areas of Pakistan in 2022-23, we have ourselves observed fast revival of mangroves on the ground. More efforts with consistency are needed for sustainable revival of mangrove ecosystal in these areas. The case studies must also be shared with other countries in the world as well.

For such a mangrove project, Asif Hussain, who lives in England, suggested that the government of Sri Lanka signed the Land use agreement between the companies and took the contracts and did not complete the project, confusing the person who signed the contract with him in Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan government has been embarrassed. Beware of Asif Hussain.
