Take a bow...::: u just freed all the knots that were eating me up all these years that led me into severe depression, eventually ended up increasing my no.of attempts list with no preparation as such for any single attempt. only constant thing in my life since 2017 nov is, my depression level keeps increasing as may n november comes up. coming to parental pressure, thats one more hell dancing on my head since 3 years. This attempt thing, u nevel kno hw many times i hv searched this on google n youtube, just to have a belief that it is just NORMAL. Finally i got that today, Love u mam...;

The thing is when a CA student goes for a turion classes, all othose teachers and their holdings in bold letters says CA in first attempt and all that. Obviously students ask them about it too. Many people had asked me too. And some where it is very deeming to one's own self-respect. They'll defend themselves by saying we were just asking.

I find it frustrating when I hear the same thing on n on in CA, CS and CMA. Here in India, it's quite rampant & employers specifically are obsessed with attempts. My personal experience with looking for job was that, I have been encouraged not to show that I m pursuing CA. It’s really sad 😞. You can’t tell them that the knowledge and the experience that you gained was from doing CA and the hold on concepts became stronger due to multiple attempts. I agree with you mam, and there is also one issue which needs to be addressed is the rank holders are given an exclusive opportunity for attending special management development programmes which helps them fetch jobs with high pay packages as fresher CA in giant MNCs , why other qualified CAs are not given this opportunity please put some light on this issue also.

1:40 actually it's very true no.of attempts should never be a matter of concern if it is so then the answer is known already cause of single digital pass percentage in CA course.. In CA course, Quality is given due preference while presenting answers in exams so I think 🙄the SAME MUST APPLY while choosing a PROFESSIONAL but not the attempts🤷🏻‍♀️

My senior during articleship was 30th rank holder n he got 7.5 package...n my brother frnd was 3rd attempt guy got 12lakhs package. 2. During my Adv GMCS I got new frnd n she did articleship in PWC..I can definitely say she was the most talented of all of them there..here communication skills were soo good...it was here 5th attempt..I asked here u have good practical knowledge n also study well then why attempts?..she simply said CA is Destiny n Agar hamne pada huva aya tho paper easy varna tough...u need to b extremely lucky sometimes. (Her dream is to settle in USA..hope she reach there)

Many reputed companies do put a criteria - only 1st attempt ones apply. Plus, as per recruiters first attemptors are smart and hardworking -presumed. Do you think this view is going to change those eligibility criteria? I think no. They will say - we have many options and people to recruit. True?

That’s the same situation everywhere. Right now, we have a lot of people available to work in Canada too, but no employer asks that question. It’s not employer’s or CA’s fault, it’s the system
