Very true. I have sick patients tell me some sad things and it left me speechless. Now I tell them be grateful for the time they have and to not give up the fight to beat cancer. Live everyday like your last. Thank you!

respect 🙏 when i become an MRI tech, I’m going to show them patients that i care and genuinely want them to get well. in fact, i want patients to remember me as the nice MRI tech when they head out and recommend others who also have been written up for the MRI to my imaging center / hospital

I wanted to say thank you to you and your wife! Your videos have been amazing and advice on point, it's because of your advice that I landed 2 clinical sites that didn't just take anyone. I just graduated Dec. 3rd and setting up date to take ARRT!! At both of my previous sites they now watch you and when I was there when you would load a video and I get the notification, my supervising tech would have me put it on and all 3 scanners would meet in middle and watch you. A few of our reg. patients would watch with us and one showed up in your t-shirt to surprise us!

Hi Erica! Thanks for sharing that wit us 🙏 It really does mean alot. We love to hear stories of great achievements like yours! Congratulations on graduating!! That's huge. Go ahead and knock that ARRT test out the park. Thats dope you played our video at your sites! It hypes me up to hear that a patient showed up in a shirt! That's awesome! Keep it up your going to be a amazing tech. Please stay in touch and let us know when you pass the ARRT , we will send you a shirt!

Hey boss, Just started as an MR Tech. 2 weeks in as I write this. Any tips for starting an IV, Contrast injections with butterfly, finding a vein, etc? That's honestly what I mostly struggle with. Thanks for making your channel. It seems like you're really the only MR tech making these vids. Appreciate you bro. Much love. Happy new year ✌

Thank you! I have 2 videos for IV tips!! With time you become better find out who is the best at sticking and follow watch them. I think these videos are helpful. Sometimes is use a blood pressure cuff to fund veins too. I place the cuff on the patient arm up side down. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q5nCk4COhrqGe68 kzbin.info/www/bejne/m2qrZY16fb6YlcU

The intro 😆 I’m here because I have to get mris done whenever there’s an issue since I can’t get surgery so I’m used to mris it’s always a struggle to lay there as still as a frozen body so they can always get the most crisp pictures / scans

I been following your channel and can't tell you how much I learned. I have been interested in MRI for some time. I've heard so many conflicting things about the work flow but from watching your videos it seems that outpatient is much more turnover and thus more work, correct? The 2nd question: Is being an MRI tech mainly a desk job or more 50-50 in terms of hands-on work and computer work? Third Question: does one have to go through being a rad tech before becoming an MRI tech? or is there a way to go straight to MRI speciality without being a rad tech? Thanks

I'm currently finishing up my prerequisites so I can jump into my community colleges' Diagnostic Imaging program. What would you suggest I do to improve the odds of me being accepted into the program? It's with COCC / LBCC. Any information would be appreciated 👍
