not really joking. Rock musics been suppressed the last 8 years like no other. Even the local rock channels here have changed from rock to top 40 the last 4 years or so. And as of late a lot of new album releases have been announced for 2017. No releases in the last 3 years got any play by even mainstream rock bands. oh wait, Lame Good Charlotte, GreenDay and suck ass Offspring did

I'm actually laughing. I've heard some pretty nutty ideas, but this... this is just the _nuttiest_ First of all, I see no actual correlational evidence to support that claim. Where are your statistics? More to the point, why would the government - especially the Obama administration, which was all about free speech - give one single flying fuckosaurus about music? The reason why " no releases in the last 3 years got any play by even mainstream rock bands" and "the local rock channels here have changed from rock to top 40 the last 4 years or so" is not because of any government intervention. It's just because rock is becoming progressively less and less mainstream, and the ratings of rock stations are going down because less people are interested. It's really sad, yes, but nothing more than a cultural shift. Also: the reason this song is not available on iTunes is because it's a limited bonus track from the international pre-order version of the album. It's the band's choice, not the government's. All it took to discover that was a single Google. P.S. I happen to like Good Charlotte, Green Day, and the Offspring.

If you did,you would have such brainwashed responses,and you would know from word of mouth the top record lable execs.. handed down changed in direction due to this exact conversation. Go find an independent used bookstore (non right or left cucked up ownership) and look for books on it in the 2008 - 2012 time frames roughly.
