Story Time in French with My Toddler: En Avant, Petit Train | Raising Bilingual Children

My son LOVES trains! His favorite French book right now is En Avant, Petit Train! by Claire Clement and Olivier Latyk. We read it so much that he actually has the book memorized. French, the minority language, is one of his native languages (the other is English). I am the only parent who speaks French, my nonnative language, with him and right now, French is my son's dominant language. #bilingualchild #bilingualkids #bilingualchildren
In this video he recites the first few pages of the book after some prompting. Then his attention wanes so we skip to the last page. Enjoy story time with my toddler!
