I love the ending. I just celebrated 17 years on 4/29 that I left my abuser. I wish I had an outlet or someone to help keep me busy or even just to talk to. So many nights I would go to bed hoping I would pass away in my sleep because I couldn’t take it anymore but my 2 boys would always show me to keep going. Now I’m in a good relationship happy and had 3 more boys and those 2 older boys that kept me alive are now 19/18 and I’m blessed to have all my babies. Thank you for letting ppl know there is help. And it's never far. Churchs are so amzing with help too. When my youngest son was i the NICU IN Fargo ND we were 2 and a half hrs away from home. We had a few lunch tickets for the cafeteria. A pastor and his wife were in the waiting room one day and we got to chatting we told them why we were at the hospital for out preemie baby son.They invited us over for lunch and dinner. They prayed for us and our baby and gave us a $50 marshalls gift card for baby clothes or supplies. We didnt have much but they helped and gave us emotional support during that tough time which we needed the most. I still think of that kind and caring couple.My son will be 7 in July he's doing great. So thank you all you do Alexis.

I quit my job of 6 yrs where I was miserable and paid very low and i accepted it cause i believed i ws worth a low amount of money even though i was a hard worker and always worked overtime. I was also hiding a huge part of myself. As a gay guy i tried to hide my femininity and id just express my full femininity around my close girl friends. After i quit that miserable job i enrolled in nail school and im on my 3rd month there and i love it! Nail School is helping me express my femininity in a positive way. i never wore nails b4 but they make me feel like such a baddie! i hid my true self for a long time cause of my family and society, i didnt want to make any1 uncomfortable so id lay low and try to blend in. You answered your own question about why God puts you in these situations/circumstances. You speak the truth (sincerely) and that is rare. I do the same and my friends love me for that. Sometimes it can feel like it backfires on you, but we are where we are for a season, a reason, or for a lifetime and the same holds true for others that enter into our lives. Loved this story! Look I'm 58 now and have the love of my life but I had 2 bad relationships early on. Oh I would tell you about them but this would be a long post. Anyways even when you have family who would be there for you, you can still stay in relationships that are toxic. All my poor family could do was watch and be there when I cried and then let me go on till I was ready to leave. I don't know why but I seriously believed that how these men treated me and what they said to me was true and I deserved what I got. But you are so right there are places that will help you out of a bad situation but honestly that person has to be ready to leave. I love your story times and all your videos. I honestly wish we lived in the same area so you could help me with my makeup. Since I've gotten older I've really gotten out of doing my hair and makeup regularly but watching your videos has motivated me and I've gotten some new foundations and other stuff and have started to slowly get back to the old me. knowing that the ex was just no good and still staying is sad. Hearing you talk about all this as you experienced it or friends who experienced similar situations just hurts. I myself stuck around my ex through my 4yrs of high school and I still think to myself like why you know. Like how you said you just think okay they will change but nope. They are who they are. I loved your message at the end, sometimes when someones in toxic relationships you can feel so stuck. I can also relate to that awful feeling where you think your current boyfriend is going to judge you because your ex did. My ex had yelled at me once for putting lotion on my legs in the car because "other guys were staring" (no one could even see since I didn't have my legs up). Anyways with my current boyfriend I had forgotten to put on sunscreen and we were going to a music festival, I was scared he would get mad but he told me to just put it on in the parking lot. He acted like it wasn't a big deal and even helped me make sure I got it everywhere.
