Why do they always say “you’re the only one that has a problem with it”? My neighbor said the exact same thing. Even tho my neighbors were breaking the noise ordinance law, I only asked them to turn the music down enough so we didn’t FEEL it in our house. Bc my son is autistic and was having panic attacks every time they had people over bc he could feel “rumbles” in his room. On July 5th they were shooting fireworks in the street at 2 am and screaming. Which was against the law in multiple ways. I reminded them that the law was 11 pm July 3-5 and can’t shoot in the street in city limits. She tried to argue with me even tho she’s new and I’ve lived here my whole life. Then it turned into “you’re the only that has a problem.” Our neighborhood is full of old people! They’re not gonna come complain! I tell you my autistic child is scared in our house bc you’re breaking the law. How are you going to defend doing that? I will never understand the disrespect some people have. And alcohol makes it so much worse.

It’s fucked up that some neighbors don’t care about shit. I have a almost 9 year old son and he has a speech delay problem and due to that problem if he is sound asleep and if he hears a loud noise he wakes up crying and he puts his hands on his ears. He gets really scared to the point that he sets the bed. And I had some neighbors upstairs that just didn’t give a fuck about my kids falling asleep in class and my sons health. Mind I take care of my mom and she’s 73 years old and her and myself wouldn’t get enough sleep. The neighbor would have her kids running around all night long. So I went to the landlord and let her know what was going on. She eventually kicked them out cause I reported the situation about 20 times or so. My new neighbors are great. It seems as though I don’t have any neighbors at all. I really hope that your situation gets better. I know that I don’t know you or your son but give him a very big hug and a kiss on his lil cheek for me. God bless

I don’t even argue anymore I call the cops. I’m too tired and old to be yelling. Similar situation just happened last week .. I asked them to lower their voices because my husband was sleeping it went on too long and I told them COVID 19 still exists they started laughing I told them my husband has it and it got real quite real fast. These were young people too. The young lady that had a lot of mouth and was the main mocking the COVID 19 just tested positive for it. Like a good neighbor I made homemade tea with onions ginger lemons and sent my best wishes to them. Some people have to learn the hard way , that respect is necessary regardless
