I've been watching and rarely commenting on your videos for a few hours now and I just want you to know that you're inspiring. and powerful, and everything in between. I'm not a new viewer or even a new subscriber. I've been following you for years. But today you have touched me in a very special way and I want you to know that. I could type/talk to you for hours about my problems and feelings but I'm not going to do that because first of all, I'm not sure you'll even see this, and second, I don't want to waste your time. But I do want you to know that you've helped me. I said this already but you are simply an inspiration, and I thank you for that.

I know what it's like to feel ready to die. I understand. It's hard for me to recognize that other people go through things do, so watching videos like this is reassuring. Not that I am happy you experienced all this, but it's good to know that I am not alone. You're a beautiful person.
@Mitchellangelo
@Mitchellangelo 8 жыл бұрын
maybe after all these moments of being sick.. it was meant to be that you survived it, so that you could experience this change of heart and learn from your life. So that you could make beautiful video's like this.. with which you change other people's lives. And even if it wasn't meant to be, you still did this. I'm transgender and sometimes had, and sometimes still have, trouble loving myself and being comfortable in my own skin. Some things can be changed about my body, some can't. I've learned to appreciate the good in myself and fight for the things that are most important. You are such an inspiration and such an amazing guy! I wish you all the happiness and strength! And I really hope you can also get healthy some day. :)

Wow. I don't often say this, but your video was really inspiring and moving. I can really feel how much you care about what you're talking about. I'm half considering showing this video to my students (I teach psychology) to encourage them, as many of them have a pretty difficult life, and many of them have half given up.

boogie this made me cry, you give me so much hope. The black dog follows me around constantly, and I know too well how it feels to just not care about life, but the way you make us laugh and share your personal stories makes me feel like I'm not alone. Obviously everyone struggles in their lives at some point but when you're depressed all you can think about is your own problems and you sharing these things just makes me glad that somebody else knows and understands and has SURVIVED!

I thought I was the only one that felt that way. I just lost everything last year because of a hip disease that has left me in pain and can barley get around. A friend has taken me in, I pushed family away. I just feel like I'm the only one with problems or I'm not strong enough to ever get back on my feet. I smoke more killing myself. I know this, I just can't stop. :(

Wonderful. After my back surgeries, I ended up with MRSA. My wounds were packed everyday, was on a wound vac and it came right back. I had a picc line.. One day i stopped fighting. I stoppes using the antibiotics and prayed for death everyday. The pain was too much. One day my son climbed on my bed and something clicked. I had to fight for him. I couldnt give up. That was 2 1/2yrs ago. I still live with pain but i fight it and the depression everyday for my babies. Never give up!

Oh wow what a story. At several points in my life i didn't want to live anymore usually after a big argument with a family member or gf. After my first gf left the city and didn't even tell me i got so sad and actually tried suicide twice and was luckily unsuccessful at both attempts. We got back together when she came back to town and the relationship lasted another year. I would think about driving off the side of the road off an embankment into trees about twenty or thirty feet below or jumping off a bridge after that relationship ended. Recently met a co worker and we dated for a year and fell in love a little quick. I broke up with her we got back together after three months broken up and a few months ago she broke up with me giving reasons not to get back together. After that i thought about staying at a hotel room with plans to end it all or just think things over and the next night we stayed at a hotel for some alone time and to talk. That time together brought more closure to the relationship and it was exactly what i needed at the time. Fast forward to two days ago she quit her job at where i work probably to get away from me and drama caused by other co workers. Interesting how quick someone can leave your life and your left sitting there thinking about how things went wrong so dam fast. I've decided being alone for now is whats best for me in order to better myself before going into another relationship.

I've been a heroin addict the better part of my life and I've made the steps necessary to turn it around; like you said you fight and wrestle with your demons. We are alike in that our addictions are just that. You're very inspiring, but addiction is not about ignoring voices. And doing the polar opposites. It's about bettering yourself in the ways you know you have to and to keep going after that. It's about changes in behavior, friends etc. take care man

'You cannot predict your future. Don't even try'. I think along those lines all the time. I love reading the wikis of famous people and discovering the ups and downs everyone goes through. The years of knocks people took before finally reaching a goal or finding a new path in life out of the blue. It's unpredictable. That's what makes it exciting.

In 2010 I dropped into a coma for 4 weeks from pneumonia mixed with staph that was eating my lungs. Stayed in the hospital for 9 months while my hope for life was bleak. Spent most of those 9 months dry heaving from yeast in my picc line. It was literally hell for me and I'm finally overcoming the mental scars it gave me, and still suffer from the breathing problems today. 75% of my right lung, 65 of the other, while I constantly produce fluid. I've also been diagnosed with COPD.

It's so painful to hear you say, "I don't care if I die, good riddance to me.". I'm glad you decided to fight for your life, as you do make a difference to so many people. From a random guy on the internet, I love you, Boogie, you are an inspiration.

I appreciate your honesty man, but let's not beat ourselves up. But I think it's also cool to be able to share your trauma with people. You're awesome Boogie, but please be strong my friend^^
