Stories like this make me SO PROUD I can knit, and crochet. It's hard to explain, the feeling you get from a finished project and the look on a face that's been gifted with something lovely that you made with your own hands.

I bought one of these sweaters 30 years ago when I first came to canada and boy I can tell you it is as beautiful now as it was then .In fact it looks like new still..Wonderful craftsmanship by these ladies.I do hope the young girls keep up this traditional wear.
