I miss the BET awards too. The worst part is they have the ability to rebrand but continue to drop the ball. Why are we regressing? lol Why in 2024 are the award shows jankier than the shows in the early 2000s? They need to stop inviting influencers and get back to it being about black talent. When Cardi was performing, she placed her hand on the underside of her stomach, then the side of her stomach. Now, that was a pregnancy touch. Khloe was always a phenomenal Auntie from what I've seen. Now she's a phenomenal mother. She was by her ex Lamar side at the hospital when he OD at the Brothel, and she flew his kids and the kid's mom out so that they could be near him. She also was very motherly to Rob. Khloe is a caretaker. If she weren't famous, she'd be a nurse working at a hospital or hospice, or running a daycare.

I have a story time too. I just moved into my complex December 2024 brand new community, new complex. People in my area own homes with an HOA fee. I have been here for six months. The garage area at my complex disturbing and disgusting where I have to braced myself before I throw my garbage away, to see garbage around on the ground like mattresses, sofa, and trash. The laundry room is the same trash, hair and things inside the washing machines I cannot describe and dog poop bags on the ground around the parking lot. My area people won their town homes with an HOA fees and I do not know where the money is being applied to but it is a jungle growing around the bike park and more. My area is developing with new apartments and homes, this is an eye sore. I cannot, I cannot. I feel embarrassed to live here

Award shows are primarily a promotional tool. Either promoting a project or being seen. I think the reason why the A list celebrities no longer attend the BET awards is that they don't have anything to promote. Many are not dropping albums or staring in a blockbuster movie or great sitcome or show anymore. The ones that are, they can go to social media to promote.
