I remembered back to my wedding day when me and my dad spoke in the small room before we went out to walk. My dad isn’t really an emotional guy so he just spoke about the weather to keep the convo light hearted but I know in his own special way it was his way of saying I want to enjoy these last moments before I have to give you away! I will cherish that small private moment for the rest of my life x

I feel like her tears were really meaningful & representative for all the people who will never be able to experience the same moment. I cherish what I did have with my dad while he was here. But can't lie that not having him here to walk me down the aisle or to grandparent my children did hit hard and has been a discouragment for me to even take those steps in life anymore. Special moments are most special with the people you can share it with.

Blessing to your Dad. Made me also cry to see him with his little girl. Although a lot of us will never get the chance to see/feel the love/protection/guidance from our father. It’s beautiful to see it happened for you. 🙌🏾 💞. I’m 33 1st time mother of a 21 month old girl named Isabella who’ll fall into the category of abandonment from her dad. My only prayer was to have a family of my own & he told me “I can’t live a lie anymore, you settled”, through text.
