When I was 16, one girl for a couple years was SCARED of me somehow... I cheated on this guy I was dating, and we broke up. Few months later, he moves on with some girl and I made it very clear that I had no issues with it and that I was glad he was moving on and no hard feelings since I WAS THE ONE who fucked up. And she damn near peed her pants every time she saw me for about 3 years after that. I repeatedly told her I had no issues, was never aggressive, never talked shit about her. She was a sweet girl who somehow convinced herself I hated her despite me repeatedly telling her to her face that I had zero problem with her and wished her the best of luck.
