Thank y’all for loving My Nikki so much and thanks for showing me so much love. Love yourself, never allow anyone to make you feel bad about yourself and if you’re in a bad relationship, get out now. You don’t have to worry about grown folks drama or Ariel’s bad butt. You both did the BEST that you could in that situation. You and Mama Glamour should feel so proud for the love that you guys put in for so long. You both deserve all the happiness in the world! ❤️❤️
@kayla.goodlett6 жыл бұрын
I love that you made this video, because it is so real. Many of us have been through something like this & if you haven't, it's very possible that you may go through this at some point in your life. Just know you are worth so much more. Like Nikki said, second chances are fine to give, but please don't give out a million chances to someone who doesn't deserve it & Who isn't trying to make a change for you. Abusers love to say that they are sorry & it will never happen again. If it does happen a 2nd time, GET OUT. Do not be like me & stick around for years. You will end up so broken & with little to no self confidence left. You will have scars that you will have to carry with you for life & it's simply not worth it. So to the young girls who see this, you are worth so much. Don't ever let a man tell you that you're not or make you feel like you're not. There are so many men out here that would love to treat you good. Love is not enough to make you deal with any type of abusive behavior. I hope that this can help at least one young lady.

I want a video of just amazing stories about your mom and her teaching you the greatest things that stick with you. I’m a young mom and would love to know what she did to raise you the way she did. She’s a real woman.
@mamaglamour77496 жыл бұрын
Grace Rose Hi Love! The number one way to raise strong, secure kids is: Put them first. Let them know you have their back. If you mess up as a mom, own it and work hard to fix it. You’re human. Tell them you expect the same from them. Be strong in your convictions and always let your kids know that they matter and they come first. Be consistent, this is key. Also...Get in their business!! They’ll think you’re annoying, but that’s ok LOL Be annoying! Love them unconditionally, even when you’re mad at them, tell them you love them. 😉❤️ There will be times that you feel like you’re doing everything wrong. Stand firm in front of them. Go into your room privately, have a good cry and then get back to work. You’re doing a great job. You got this. ❤️

Oh my god. My mom went through the same exact thing. Like.. Every thing you said regarding phil and ariel, My step sister was exactly like her. He would purposely undermine my mom and she would see him do that so then she thought she could do it too. It would piss me off. Then when they'd fight I really just couldn't bite my tongue so Id go off on him. Wow. I can relate to this so much. I started crying like 3 times because I didn't realize someone else went through such a similar experience as me. It really is hard seeing that happen, It was always just My mom, me and my little sister so when he came in with his kids and started disrespecting her like that Id just lose it. So yeah because I did not want to hear the fighting I just had to keep my mouth shut. I am just so protective of My mom. I love you Nikki! Thank You so much for this video and I'm sorry that you and your mom had to go through this, but I know for a fact you are both so much stronger now for going through it and incredibly independent. this made me so emotional. my mom went through abuse from my bio dad. They were together till I turned 11, I grew up with the abuse. He never turned on me but if she stayed he would have. When I was younger I didn’t understand why she left because I grew up thinking the abuse was normal I didn’t know what was happening. I didn’t know that when he hit her it wasn’t okay.. it was so hard for my mom and embarrassing. She doesn’t talk about him to this day.. 9 years later. It’s hard for women and for men but for mothers they have to think what’s best for their child. Your mom was so brave and sharing her story can help another women realize what is being done to them. However, I do not tolerate the way he disrespected mama glamour with his petty ways and verbal abuse. for that, there is no excuse. and i understand why mama glamour felt the need to put up with it for the sake of her family. so many families go through stuff like this. parents sometimes forget how the most important thing to kids is actually the happiness of their parent. my parents fought a heck lot when i was young too and they never got divorced "for the childrens' sake" but i honestly wished they would just get divorced already rather than watch and listen to them go through hell every other day

And that's how you get little entitled girls walking around thinking everyone owes them something.. My mom was a lot like your mom. Strong single woman with 3 kids that struggled for everything she had and yet would give you the shirt off her back. I miss her so so much. 💗

FIBRO MOM Your mum sounds like an incredible woman,my mum is very similar,she supports two children,six guinea pigs(which are mine),2 hamster(mine)and three dogs.As you can imagine,to do this she works around 12 hours a day but the time we spend together is so special.Again,your mum sounds very lovely,this comment made my day;to know that there are some of the kindest woman looking after their children,my dad's ex didnt treat me right..I don't see my dad very often as neither did he..I miss him a lot too xx

I feel the same way about my mom. Momma glamour if you're reading this you did an amazing job! From all of the stories that Nikki has told us you sound like my mom. What most teens don't understand I that as mothers ( or parents I only had my mother) you are just trying to protect us, not punish us. And I feel that the sooner teens learn that the better. I'm sorry for the things that you have had to endure Momma glamour but I wish you nothing but happiness!

I have so much respect for you and how hard you try to help girls find respect for themselves. I had some similar experiences with ex step parents and siblings growing up, and I know how emotional retelling and reliving those experiences can be. I just genuinely appreciate how hard you work for this channel, but also how hard you work at teaching and helping young women to value themselves and have self worth. Thanks for all that you do, Nikki. I know you have a lot to balance, but you're doing great 💜

This low-key broke my heart to hear. It is definitely relate able! I saw this whole thing from the outside with my sister. She was in a relationship very similar to this. Caring for another child and struggling going back n forth with her s/o about parenting. He, too, wanted my sister to be the mother figure but would get mad when it came to keeping the child in line. And he would degrade her as a person as well. Me and my sisters would voice our opinions on how he treats my sister, but when my older brother came back from Afghanistan (he was in the marines) he did not tolerate that at all. Even when my brother just spoke to him, my sisters b/f would be so scared. But he would disrespect my sister. He needed to know it was not okay to degrade a female when shes tryna help you when your asking for it. But she smartened up and left too. Nothing is better than knowing your worth and what you will not tolerate.

Tell your mom we love her and support her because she raised an amazing daughter!

Hey Nikki , I watch ALL of your stories ( my mom actually watches some with me & LOVES them and your mom). My mom is also a single mother and we went through very similar struggles it’s crazy. First of all , I just wanted to applaud you for your strength through it all. Secondly, I think your glamzons like myself will take in your strength and know that we aren’t alone in the fact we have all been in shitty situations but those shitty situations have made us who we are. My mom always feels bad when we talk about some of the things we had been through just like your mom and always tells me she wishes I hadn’t gone through that however I’m glad I was there with her because I wouldn’t want her to go through it alone ! And thirdly ! Girlllll if any of these people try to come at your mother , I will personally have your back because I also do not PLAYYY when it comes to my Madre! Keep doing you , your amazing & your mom is obviously amazing because she helped mold you into the human being you are! - your glamazon from Chicago , Jen

If he didn't want to parent and just wanted to be the 'cool' dad then he shouldn't have been a parent in the first place. Being a parent involves PARENTING that's the whole point. No wonder Ariel ended up the way she did with a dad like him. Ariel needed a parent not a friend and she needed from the beginning. Also, I don't think that parents should fight in front of their children especially when it comes to big issues and parents should NEVER insult each other in front of their children. What example does that set. Again, I'm not surprised that Ariel was the way she was when we look at how her father reacts to things and handles difficult situations. Some people are just not meant to be in relationships just as some people are not meant to be parents. It's not for everyone and it takes a strong person to raise a child which is what Mama Glamour is. I'm glad they got out of that situation.
