I have a miniture trampoline in my living room. He can jump, swing in his hammock, play basketball, and swing from monkey bar handles. I am tired of being disappointed by buying things that he doesn't play with, so I only buy things that I'm 100 percent certain that he'll play with. I also got a swing that hangs from the ceiling (I haven't put that up yet. That way he can jump/swing all of his excess energy out. ❤

I'm with you with the Pitbulls, Many Pitbulls are friendly, but many are not. Much of the time, Putbulls become aggressive because their owners make them that way. And you never know if a Pitbull (or any dog really) is aggressive or not. Also, I bought myself a steam mop about a week ago and I absolutely LOVE it and recommend it if you don't have one.❤

Glad you went to the dr. I was feeling increasingly off all summer and it turns out I have an autoimmune issue that affects the thyroid. We know when something is off so hopefully your dr takes you seriously. That is so awful about the dog! We have two dogs and specifically picked two breeds that are known to be gentle and have trained them appropriately. Even so I don’t leave kids alone with them. Crazy that the owner wasn’t more apologetic!

Talk to animal control about filing a report so it’s on record. If the dog ever got out again and bit, there’s record of aggressive behavior. Without a report, the dog could continue to bite.
@andrewphoenixvervynck7893 ай бұрын
I agree. The next time it may be a child that gets bit by the same dog and there’s no report on file. I would be livid as a parent
@jessicaely25213 ай бұрын
In Miami-Dade County, and I think all of Florida they have extremely strict laws about dogs biting. The dog will be put down if he bites a person or another animal. It doesn't matter it's the dogs 1st time of biting. Dogs that are provoked into biting, I think, are an exception. Now, what a report can do is if the dog hasn't bitten anyone, the dog will be rehomed with repeat records. *Edit the dog will not be rehomed if the dog is provoked into biting.

Hi Kayla. Thank you for sharing this vlog. They always uplift me as a Cristian homeschool mom of 3 as well. Same ages as your kiddos. Inknow exactly what you mean when you sayb you have those funky days...i get them too, especially when i have health concerns as well. I had a prolgonged period for a couple of weeks and I was worried about what it could be. Well, it turns out I'm pregnant which came to a complete shock to my husband and I. My baby is only 14 months and I'm. Mentally not ready for another. I'm doing my best to surrender to God's will. I pray all is well with your health. Oh and anytime i take the kids gor a walk my myself, i carry a stick and pepper spray to warn off any dog's

Kayla I am actually a dog trainer and I am not breed specific when it comes to what deems a dog to be dangerous because all breeds can be dangerous if they are not probably socialized and trained. All breeds can bite in fact little dogs are more of a bite risk statistically than larger breeds, the difference is it’s not feared as much because they can’t cause the extreme damage that a dog such as a pit bull could. Taking this into consideration, you are so smart to teach your children to be cautious around all dogs. I wish more parents would teach children to be cautious when approaching dogs. More of my job is training people than it is the dog in actuality. Children should always ask first but even then I don’t trust it until I greet the dog first and watch their behavior as my children approach. I’m so sorry this happened to him and I would definitely be concerned about your children’s safety and that is so sad and unfair to you and them. Your neighbors are blessed that you aren’t pressing charges but sadly they don’t seem to care either way.

Pit bulls were originally bread to kill bulls. Their jaws are incredibly strong. That’s what makes me frustrated when pit bull lovers get all in their panties about it. Yes, any dog can bite, but a pit bull will have jaws locked on you, and kill easier. My neighbor was walking hers and her pit was wagging tail and she told us the dog was very friendly. So I trusted her and she let the dog near my son, who had zero interest in dogs by the way, he was just standing. And the dog out of no where went to attack him. The dog was nearly a couple inches from ripping his whole face off. I felt like I looked down a crocodiles mouth. My son was 3. She goes “idk what happened she’s super friendly with us and loves us” UH yeah she loves your family only. I absolutely reported it. Then she had the audacity to let the dog roam our neighborhood lose!!!!!!! I was beside* myself.

I’m really afraid if u DONT report the dog biting Joe, the next time the dog could bite a child!! Even YOUR CHILD!! Joe was very LUCKY that the dog unclamped! I guess a lot of pit bulls DONT unclamp, untill they kill the person they are biting, or someone kills the dog!! For the sake of yours and other children, report this incident to the police!!

I had two Rottweilers get away from the owners on a leash and came running for me and my little dog, whom I picked up. They were then junking up at my dog and I hit one on the nose with a phone but I had to wait for the out of shape owner to catch up while holding my dog. Luckily they didn’t attack me and all was well. If I didn’t pick her up I don’t think it would have been.

Please report it to save a child from worse injury including your own. Not doing so to not offend your neighbor who seems not to care much about the situation is not the right or safe choice. It’s terribly awkward, sure, but don’t allow them to get away with it for the safety of all children.

I have a pitbull and she is the most docile well behaved dog. We adopted her when she was just one year old. We put in the work and continue to enforce the behavior we want. We also are very strict about how people interact with her so as not to undo what we have instilled in her. We have a very loud, active four year old boy that she is extremely patient and loving with. So please as a pitbull owner I would really appreciate it if you as an influencer would not put things out there that puts a whole breed in a bad light. I understand that you had a bad experience and there is no excuse for the owners not training and being responsible for their dog. However that does not mean all pitbull owners are irresponsible. It's not the breed it's the training and environment.
@KaylaBuell3 ай бұрын
@@junesammy-robidoux2305 I never said all pitbull owners are irresponsible. Sounds like you’re doing a great job as an owner, recognizing the work that should go in to having a pet. Now would I be comfortable owning one or being around one? No. But I think I get to make that decision as a mother, and you get to make that decision as well.

@@KaylaBuellI am a bully breed owner and I still would be overly cautious with my kids around bully breeds no matter how sweet the owners say their dog is. I don’t even fully trust my own dog bc you just truly never know. Absolutely a smart idea to be overly cautious as a mother around these breeds as they def are capable of doing more harm than something like a chihuahua.
@junesammy-robidoux23053 ай бұрын
@@KaylaBuell totally understand not being comfortable owning a pitbull or any dog for that matter because it is definitely a tremendous responsibility. I just wished people were more educated about the breed and were more willing to have a conversation than pass judgement. Also conversation requires thought about how things are phrased especially for the public. Thank you for your honesty and having hard conversations.
