Thank you for your video's Jeffery. Living in Brooklyn NY, it is interesting to see these small towns as if i were in the car. I take drives like this now and then in rural upstate NY, one of these days I want to drive through West Virginia and see this beautiful State first hand. Also enjoyed the bluegrass gospel music on your video.

Not all of Stotesbury looks as run down as the ride along here. Missed the main set of old boss's 2 story homes. That's where I grew up. Miss my dad. Spent along of my life riding bikes on this very road. Love you daddy

@jefferyb304 I enjoyed your video. I love the mountains and winding roads. Although I must, I live only about an hour and ten minutes north from there in Gauley Bridge, WV. I also enjoyed your driving music. Beautiful and peaceful it was. I would love to have a copy of it. Could you tell me the album title so I could try to find it? I would greatly appreciate it. And thank you for the great video.

@jefferyb304 How about that - small world isn't it? I haven't been there in years, but I have cousins there. We use to visit their mother when she was living when we were little. I lived in Radford, Virginia, from what I can remember, wasn't that long a drive to their home, maybe a couple of hours? Gwen

Beautiful country, that roads sure has lots of curves, good thing you don't have some idiot tailgating you. Around here they drive like it is a race track. One could run off that road very easy.

@jefferyb304 Then that was about right - 2 hours, 100 miles. I remember once going to a pretty State Park there near Athens. We had some good times visiting them. I go to Radford quite often to visit my sister and brother, I was just there a couple of weeks ago, and going back end of April to see Daily and Vincent who will be at the New River Valley Community College there. Hi Razer, In 1977 I was 5. I can remember my parents driving from Beckley to Sophia ( I always thought we used to live in Sophia Creek but maybe Soak Crrek ) and would come to a road had to go left or right. We would go right and then we would turn into this trailer park with maybe about 15 - 20 - 25 trailers and I think trailers were spaced out a little kinda on a incline and nothing behind trailers but trees at the time. I also remember I could walk to this little store that had a screen door I would get candy from. It is amazing to think about how my mom and dad started and were they are at now. My sister was going to visit relatives up North back in 2003 and she said the trailer park is not even there anymore. I wonder what the name of that little store was... Time keeps on marching. I was only a little kid but I remember I liked WV.
