Thanks for taking me on a walk around the countryside I grew up in during the 60s. I delivered papers to all the Combs houses up to Little Finborough when I was at school. I moved away from Suffolk in 1979.

Thanks Bill. I do tend to puff and pant a bit. On this walk it was exacerbated by unexpected full sunshine and carrying too much equipment in the backpack. 🙂

Hi Don. A really nice walk, and I'm glad someone took the lid off the Tupperware! 😁 Turned out a beautiful day, and some lovely birdsong👍 I do enjoy piecing together new routes, but I'm with you on how annoying it is when traditional rights of way get diverted for no good reason! 😬 All the best 👍😊

We are glad you enjoyed walking some of our fields! Pleased you liked our bench and bird feeders too. We keep meaning to paint the bench! It was hard work putting it in place for you to enjoy. Come again in the summer and you will see we have also planted 4 stunning wildflower meadows. Actually you missed the footpath that runs beside the hedge we planted 20? years ago, put in by hand digging one cold winter. So we wouldn’t describe ourselves as industrial- we did put in the field margins ( grass strips ) bird cover for the wildlife, and we also put in the permissive footpath on Combs Lane, which has become very popular indeed. Let alone all the lovely hedgerows we have planted. The dog roses are a treat to see in the summer. Lovely walk, isn’t it? Mr and Mrs Farmer

Yes, it was a water bowser for the horses. My son and his family rescued it and placed it for all to see.
