Excellent video. Do you think a prism would be necessary for the strabismic eye? My 8 year old was prescribed +1.50 in his right eye and -5.25 (with a prism) in his left amblyopic eye. He said the glasses give him a headache and double vision, so I don’t make him wear them.

Well Explained. Sir I am suffering from this problem. With right eye I can see fully ok but with left eye not. I want to ask that I am using glasses but still with left eye I see blurry. pls answer it❤

Aoa sir...kya right eye monocular patching prescribe krna beneficial nhi ho ga patient k lye?? Bcz occlusion amblyopia hony k chances to hoty hain but hm follow up k through rule out kr skty hn ....so monocular or alternate patch which one would be more effective?

Alternate patching is more effective and safe, in monocular amblyopia we have to protect our better eye so we prefer alternate patching

What glasses will the patient wear during alternate patching,when the better eye is patched? Therapy glasses or actual glasses?

Alternate patching can we done on same day ?? Like 2h patching for normal eye and after then next 2 h patching amblyopic eye??
