He got fired because the fans/media pushed so hard, he was forced to switch to Fields and then it was "HIS" fault that Fields was bad and that he shouldn't have put him in the position of having to perform as an NFL QUARTERBACK. Pure stupidity. Andy Dalton was (and is) FAR better. Andy Dalton is FAR better than Caleb. Nick Foles is FAR better than Fields and Caleb. Tyson Bagent is FAR better than Fields and probably FAR better than Caleb. Nothing you or anyone else can say will disprove anything I've said, as I've only stated FACT. YOU are the fanboy. A whole new offensive coaching staff that came from Seattle and made Geno Smith look like a Pro Bowl QB. This Bears team should AT LEAST win 9 games.

Well please don't put Stupid Pressure on first year QBs just because they were drafted number 1. Troy Aikman was 1/15 and in his second yr I don't believe they even made the playoffs after getting Irwin and Emmitt Smith. So patience is still the key.

To be fair, the question had to be asked due to history. When Trubisky was drafted he had to sit behind Mike Glennon, when Justin Fields was drafted he had to sit behind Andy Dalton. We had to be sure that there weren't going to be any shenanigans heading into this training camp.

All I have to ssy is Caleb got the red carpet treatment off the bat!!!! We got two #1 receives potentially 3...A good replacement at center! That's a lot more than Justin Fields had!!! And a couple of seasons before that you're drafted another one and he became a bust. But you need to go back and take a look at your first round draft pick college games and watching when he's behind by 10 points or more. outside of that first option he didn't know how to look for number two or number 3 or number four before he took off running. And to be honest with you they will destroy him in the NFL if he does that.
