This "kind" of music is around 60 years old. And was greatly inspired by Blues players like Buddy Guy and B.B. King. You have A LOT to learn about rock music and where it really came from.

Isn’t it funny that as a black metal head you got more love from the metal heads than your own people? I learned diversity by hanging out with different crowds and like another commentor said that their loss and that’s fine. As a young black woman, growing up black family and friends thought I was weird for being alt. Growing up I haven’t been able to be myself because it’s “evil” when really it’s self expression. I was never able to dress how I wanted but however I have music like this now that I’m finding this it makes me want to buy all of my alt clothes and live me dream lol

I'm 34 and still rock out and when I'm in the city and people look at me funny because I'm a brown woman, I look back, smile, and turn it up as loud as I can cause I am who I have always been. It used to bother me but now I love who I have become because I have always been true to myself.

Well, I'm a black emo/goth girl, I considerate myself different and it's so damn difficult to find people like me, for example in my area and integrate myself into society. It sucks and hurts.
