@@fearless_ami890 its a trigonometric formula , if two angles 'A' and 'B' are given, then tanA -tanB = tanA-tanB/1+tanAtanB ,sir had simply taken theta1 and theta2 instead of B and A here , after estabilishing the relation among theta, theta1 and theta2, he simply took 'tan' on both sides to get tan(theta)= tan(theta2) - tan(theta1) and used that formula
