Steve Perry is by far my favorite artist and vocalist and I usually hate when people try to cover the songs he sang with Journey but this one... this one made me proud.

Thanks for posting this video. I saw SNC in Chicago in December and this was one of my favorite songs of the night.. All of the group have great voices and can do solos, but when you put them all together, it is spectacular!

@savannnah2 Baltimore was apparently having lighting issues. If you look up the Cartoon Medley from this same user, Charlie was having a difficult time finishing his intro because the house lights kept going on and off, over and over.

@ErinsLassie The lights went back off, like they were supposed to, but then the lights came back on, and everyone laughed. They were having trouble with the lights that night.

Talent is not judged by the amount of time that person has had the talent, or how famous they become. It's like comparing a creme brulee to a chocolate chip cookie. The creme brulee has been around for hundreds of years, yet the chocolate chip cookie was created in the 60's. Which is better? Well that's a matter of opinion.

@rebeccaharper677412 жыл бұрын
They were having problems with the lights that night... for most of the concert the house lights were on. It was a rarity for them to be off... so at 1:48, they went off and at 1:55 they came back on... it was a very frustrating evening for them. LOL But they were laughing about it as they often do.
@autumncervoni11 жыл бұрын
People go off pitch, and nerves being in front of a crowd makes it worse.. trust me ive been there but he probably went home watched this over and over again beating himself up about it like i did for my solo, but its still amazing and beautiful! people who dont know music couldnt tell anayways lol

whats going on when everyone claps the suddenly seems dissapointed?
@yankzfan0512 жыл бұрын
They all cheer at 1:51 because they had been having issues with the lights going off and on all night. The lights cut out on them after that line and come back on shortly after, hence the collective sigh shortly following it. It has NOTHING to do with lyrics or him hitting notes or not.
@bebegforlife12 жыл бұрын
They should star in glee

@mikegol12311 жыл бұрын
Not that I think Tyler is a bad singer, but he's off key in a few places.Not the worst as hes doing it a capella and its one of MANY songs by several artists that he performs and didn't write himself. Perry happens to do this song in particular better (seen in any live performance of don't stop believing), and would probably do so for most of the songs he wrote. I'd be more curious to see who is a better cover artist. That would tell me more about who is more talented/has better range

he didn't sing the wrong part of the song, though. Those are the lyrics and the order they're sung in.

No he isn't. When he fronts a band for 20+ years, tours the world, and performs in front of packed stadiums and arenas then you can make this idiotic statement.Not saying that Tyler isn't good but you have to take your blinders off
