It would be an expensive blind buy for sure. If you can sample first, it's better! Then you can see if it's worth it for you.

Straight to Heaven Oud and Musk is out as of a few days ago, available in the UK at Selfridges at present. Would be interested to know your thoughts when you get a sample because I know you are a fan of STH and STH Ex. All they say is that it has an extended dry down from the Oud, but they don't say if it is more like STH Ex with Oud or the OG (less vanilla and Rum) with Oud. I asked Kilian UK so lets see what they say. If I get a sample first I will post here my thoughts.

Great review. I love boozy fragrances... I have Apple Brandy, Black Phantom in that Kilian category. The original STH never really appealed to me, but will be sure to check this out (if I am able).

I think it's worth the extra, but best to sample first. Some don't like how the vanilla/fruits and booziness are amped up.

Straight to Heaven Extreme. Maybe about equal with STH. I also prefer STHE over Baraonda.

Samples are a great way to get some variety, or some decants. Single Malt is another amazing one from Kilian. Fan Your Flames and Side Effect are nice boozy tobaccos as well.

@@OlfactiveStories I like Spice Blend :) It's straight forward and somewhat subtle, but enjoyable. I haven't tried the Penhaligons.

Angel’s Share (AS) and Straight to Heaven extreme(SHE)… I think AS edges out SHE, possibly, but I LOVE them both!!!!

I think I'd probably agree here. I do like STHE, but AS is really nice and I love the boozy apple pie vibe. Sometimes I prefer STH over STHE because it's a little more woody and not as vanilla heavy. But who knows, all them are great ones :D
