My man! Great tips, and explanations. This was the video I was looking for. New to pinball, and I feel like I'm getting a series of beginner/intermediate/advanced sessions. Well done!

Having watched and understood stuff presented in this video is going to be a huge help in my GoT game play. Glad to have watched it and will watch more. Quite possible multiple views....

IIRC (and it may not be true for GOT) your score will blink until the play field is valid, then it will turn solid.

mbrosatellite absolutely right! I forgot about this. I will add this to the beginning of Part II as I’m getting feedback from people and will make sure that stuff gets mentioned.

Awesome video Chuck! Thanks for posting STDM! Can't wait to see the next installment. These kinds of videos really help me out being new to competitive pinball. I've always had decent ball control but never had enough money to purchase my own machine to really learn how to navigate through games. Any plans after GoT to go through other games in depth like this?
@SDTM7 жыл бұрын
Adam Horton hey thanks! The plan is for Chuck Wurt to continue doing in depth tutorials but due to the depth of rules presented will take some time for the next title.

Just a note, at 13:40, you thought you hit a standup and both lock targets (which was 3 and should have validated the playfield), but you only hit one lock standup

As Greyjoy, what power is gained by defeating House Targaryen? I managed to do it today for the first time, but only saw Swords is Lit.
@Jetrulez15 Жыл бұрын
Targaryen freezes timers. You probably have to beat all 3 battles to get that power, though.

Do you have the pinstadium mod on your game? The reflection off the playfield is annoying/distracting. Is that what's causing it? Great tutorial though!
@chuckwurt7 жыл бұрын
pipes yep. It helps make the playfield come across crisp in the stream. Even more so when I bump the fps to 60. The playfield looks crazy dark at 60 fps without additional lighting. Thanks for watching!

Gotcha. Your tutorial makes me want to buy a GOT. Not sure why it seems to get a bad rap from a lot of people. It has great rules and great shots. Only knock on it is the cab and translite artwork but what really matters is the gameplay IMO!

Make the game screen bigger and the video of you smaller. Trying to learn here not look at you.
@SDTM6 жыл бұрын
Rob your kinda stuck at that size man. If you make it much bigger you cut off the playfield. You have certain perimeters to work with in with the playfield being vertical and the screen being 16x9
