Straightening Bonsai Wire Technique + Styling Native Willow Bonsai

For those of us whom reuse wire a super helpful tip on how to straighten wire. Working on a native willow bonsai. All the branches survived the bending as I was a little concerned that I may have pinched a branch, maybe I did and it survived either way all is good now. I was able by the end of the year to bend that branch coming off the trunk down and it really added to the design. I’m looking forward to this year and how it turns out. I’m expecting small leaves as the container is small and I’m getting more ramification. Easy fun species for bonsai, really hardy, I’m assuming this is the shrub variety. I really like the willow tree👍. It has actually already bloomed in spring because the variety always produces small white flower clusters in spring when they have reached a certain age.

put one end of the wire in a vice, clamp a pair of vice grips or something similar on the other end, give it a "yank" instant straight wire, 😇
