Great movie. I wondered how it would all tie in and I see how it did eventually. I’m also glad that the script was developed and made allowance for the lead actress to have the benefit of going through her process of forgiveness and not have it forced on her like it was in part 1. It’s going to take a while to come to terms with things emotionally and spiritually and her inner circle should give her the benefit of that process. God has so much work to do in the hearts of all of them and we can already see that He has started. As for the joint account situation, how was she so gullible like that? Really startling. I like how MZF paid attention to comments in the original movie and implemented it in this second one. Kudos! ....and I feel like this will lead to a series....? If it is going to become a series, I'd really appreciate if we can address whether or not forgiveness means a return to the "status quo". Sometimes we can forgive a person who has hurt us and should still be able move on without that person in our life. (Does forgiveness always require continuing in the marriage?) The reason I ask/say this is because there are Christian marriages today where spouses are constantly forgiving each other (for major issues - not petty stuff) and nothing is changing/improving. Christian counseling is often beneficial to help with emotional healing and it also provides tools to work through life's struggles, but many churches & pastors are biased towards counseling in the first place. Forgiveness often addresses the spiritual side of being hurt, but not necessarily the emotional & psychological trauma of that hurt. God's continued blessings upon the folks at TKP and MZF!
