I've only just started playing this, I made the animals passive and I don't intend on escaping, This video has given me so many ideas, good effort mate

I make the animal passive until I want to hunt sharks. Good tip is to craft items until you can make a water still and a smoker. When you can build 2 smokers and use them both to get your cooking skill up quicker. Also, kill everything! Hunting skill is the hardest to get leveled up. Nothing you kill will go bad until you skin it, so you can stockpile anything. If your animals are passive, swim to the next island! Swimming gets your physical stat leveled up along with building structures. It's one of the best games and I don't plan on beating it. it's kind of like it's own vacation/holiday!
