STRANDED, FOUR-FOOT SNOW DRIFTS.

Cows took refuge behind my house trying to stay warm and out of the wind driven snow. And with all the dirt roads around my house covered in snow and three-to-four-foot snow drifts, Susie and I started to run low on food and other household necessities. Digging out seemed to be our only hope of survival.
